Jade Williamson

Jade Williamson is an artist from London, Ontario, currently completing an Honours Specialization of Fine Arts at the University of Western. Her practice recently has been informed by an interest in wildlife and raising awareness for endangered species.

Jade Williamson is an artist from London, Ontario, currently completing an Honours Specialization of Fine Arts at the University of Western. Her practice recently has been informed by an interest in wildlife and raising awareness for endangered species. Alongside actively working as an artist and pursuing her career as an art educator, she is the Exclusive Artist for Polar Nation. She has been producing artwork used for the creation of products of which proceeds go towards Polar Bears International for polar bear conservation. She has also joined the Embassy Cultural House website team as a contributing editor and has participated in their first virtual exhibition Hiding in Plain Sight.  In her current year of her undergraduate degree, she has been awarded the David Magee Scholarship in Visual Arts and the Mackie Cryderman Award for Excellence in Visual Arts.
