Anjali Singh

Hi! My name is Anjali Singh and I'm 18 years old from Markham Ontario. I'm currently in first year at Western University in the SASAH (School for the Advanced Studies in the Arts and Humanities) program alongside International Relations. My grandma taught me to sew two years ago and when quarantine hit I would spend everyday at my machine, creating things from old fabric and thrifted clothing. I also launched my own clothing shop at the end of summer creating one of a kind items and pre-orders. The one of a kind pieces have been my favourite to create since I love reusing old scrap fabric and up cycling vintage clothes (which is also why I refuse to throw out anything and have boxes of fabric in my room, as you may assume its quite messy and yes, my mom does yell at me).
